W2:Swimming – Turtle Swim 10:00AM – 11:OOAM /Grade Pre-K3 to Pre-K4

Turtle Swim This group has continued to grow in all aspect of learning to swim. Turtle swimmers are learning some important and basic skills, in a fun way in the small pool. These skills are lay the foundation for future skill development of swim strokes. Safe Enter and Exit independently using Step, Ladder, or Side and travel at least 5 yards. Blowing Bubbles using mouth or nose for at least 3 seconds. Open eyes underwater and retrieve submerge objects in chest deep water Push-off and glide on front and back for two body lengths. (with or without of teacher support) Swim on front and back using arms and legs action for 5 body lengths. Simultaneous arm and leg actions on front and back for 2 body length. Independently Jump in to deep water from the side. Learn more self-help and basic rescue skills. Turtles swim group are playing games at the end of each swim class.  Students loved to play sharks and minnows, Treasure hunt. These games will help students building up a confidence and enjoy in the water environment.
